There has got to be some funny business is going on in San Fran. Posey, Belt, Longo, and Crawfard are long past their primes and are not this good anymore (honestly Crawford was never remotely this good). Combine that with career years from almost every other hitter on their roster. And their pitching staff likewise is full of hasbeens and castoffs pitching like Cy Young candidates. No team is this lucky and players don't magically turn the clock back 5-10 years (certainly not 75% off the roster anyways). Very fishy

I agree 100%. Maybe all the luck the Braves should’ve had transferred to the Giants somehow.

Remember San Francisco is the place Bond's head magically grew several sizes and guys like Jeff Kent became all world. Nothing new for SF.

The Nationals and Phillies game has been postponed because of Washington’s covid outbreak, sources tell ESPN. Multiple players and coaches have tested positive today after Trea Turner did yesterday. Size of outbreak remains to be seen, but may wind up as biggest in MLB this year.

Hope it means they can't trade Max.

There are twelve total positive cases, manager Dave Martinez told reporters (including Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post). Those are four players (including Turner) and eight staff members. Eleven of the twelve have been vaccinated, according to Martinez. Fortunately, no one involved feels seriously ill, which the skipper attributed to the high vaccination rate among those infected.

MLB has tentatively scheduled a doubleheader tomorrow to make up tonight’s game. That, of course, is pending additional follow-up testing.

So Gerrit Cole made over 300 million dollars from cheating eh?

Good for him and thrilled the Yankees are stuck with the bill!

Ender posted a nice goodbye and shout out to Atlanta fans on his IG story- I don't know to link it here (since it's not a post, it's a story) but kudos to him for showing class on the way out. Class act.

I mean, he had to know it was coming. He horrendously bad the last 2 years. He wasn't even back-up quality, aside from the glove.

I was watching Olympic baseball today - USA vs Israel. Alot of MLB castoffs in this game - Ian Kinsler, Todd Frazier, Danny Valencia to name a few. I expect Japan to mow through this tournament since I'm assuming they halted their season for this.

I believe in his post he kinda mentioned in a subtle way how his performance wasn't that good the last few years.
