Trades/acquisitions

It’s just funny when people try to talk down about other teams around the league. Before last seasons run to the collapse in the NLCS it had been what, 20 years since the Braves advanced in the playoffs? Hardly the gold standard.

The Braves have talked to the Cubs about Kimbrel. They've strengthened their outfield with Duvall and bolstered their bench with Rosario, who should be healthy w/in the next couple weeks. Adding Kimbrel, Iglesias or another high-leverage reliever could still happen.

To be fair we have talked down about our front office for several years. We couldn’t escape the Cox era and I am still not 100% we have yet.

Do you disagree that the Rockies have been ran poorly the past few years?

Probably not to us but tons of chatter from real sources that he has a high possibility of being dealt.

That’s fair. Berrios wasn’t someone the Twins were hellbent on moving a few days earlier. His market shot up a ton. Maybe the same happens with Buxton?

Finally getting the Joc/Duvall platoon we all wanted, only 5 months too late.

Pretty intrigued about Rosario. Aside from the HR rate (which could be suppressed due to the Indians stadium) his rate stats are right in line with career norms. Could be a pretty big get here.

Morosi: #Twins trade talks on Byron Buxton are intensifying, sources say. No deal is close yet. Multiple teams involved. Will be a fascinating final 100 minutes before the deadline.
