Trades/acquisitions

I'd bet almost anything the Braves have higher TV ratings than the Hawks.

To be fair, the Hawks did just have the best season in their franchise's history. It wouldn't shock me if Hawks playoff games were higher rated than Braves regular season. I'm a local, and there was some legitimate "Hawks Fever" going around. What SJ24 is ignoring is the Braves being a regional team. Inside the city proper, the Falcons probably do have more juice. But in the suburbs, including the suburb the Braves moved to, all through the Carolinas, Tennessee, and as far west as Louisiana, the Braves have a significant footprint. Not to mention the new ballpark being a work of art and the area the Ted was in being a total ****hole. I love the city, but that's not a good part of town. At all.

Anyway, let's get some bp help. Or Josh Donaldson. Dealer's choice.

Does anyone at all actually care about the Hawks?

I'm not a Georgian so I dunno. I thought not though.

Braves are bigger business than the Dawgs.

Baseball is just not as passionate.

The Hawks are the hottest team here and it’s not close.
One of the wildest environments I’ve been to at a sporting event this past season.
They are pretty much the Braves circa 1991 right now
I’m not getting into the debate going on right now but the Hawks are pretty popular around downtown and the suburbs right now

TV ratings, social media engagement, total local revenue, etc.

The Braves are 3rd in their own state. They are definitely behind Georgia Bulldogs football, too.

It doesn't have to be that way.

The Yankees, Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, Red Sox, etc. are wildly popular in cities with MORE competition than the Braves have.

We are a **** franchise with a **** GM and **** ownership. John Malone cares more about acquiring more land in Montana than winning the East.

Is what it is. The 90s are never coming back.

Holy racism Batman.
