This time of year the best view IMO is from the boat that goes thru the mist. Approaching the Falls is awesome but when you start getting into the mist and still going forward it becomes scary.

They have this sneaky passive aggressive side. And whenever I try to speak French to a Quebecois they stop me and tell me that their English is better than my French, so let's not do that. It is a beautiful country though.

Meh experience.

Wouldn't do it again. All we talked about was racism in New York.
 
can we cross into Canada yet? saw they were thinking of letting vaccinated in but hadn't seen a for sure

i'll be in detroit this weekend and thinking of bringing the passport card just in case


i'll be detroit this weekend, possible Seattle/Washington and Glacier mid September ftr

Canada Travel Restrictions
Unvaccinated visitors from the United States will not be allowed to enter Canada.

Vaccinated visitors from the United States can enter Canada with a negative COVID-19 test result.

Canada entry details and exceptions

The travel restrictions do not apply to Canadian citizens,Permanent residents,Extended family members include those in a long-term, exclusive dating relationship and their dependent children, plus adult children, grandchildren, siblings, and grandparents under certain conditions,Foreign nationals for compassionate reasons in specific and limited situations, including to say goodbye to a loved one, to provide care for a loved one, or to attend a funeral.
Foreign nationals arriving directly from the US for a non-discretionary purpose,Indians under the Indian Act, International students approved by a provincial or territorial government as having a COVID-19 readiness plan will be allowed to enter Canada.

Non-essential travel such as Tourism, Recreation, Entertainment are not allowed.

will also have to have a negative test before being let back into the USA (even if vaccinated)

Just want to say I wanted to have the beer in Harlem and NYCBrave and Chosen One were scared and outvoted me to move the venue below 125th.

I'm hearing Canada will shoot your dog if you are unvaccinated and try to cross.
