I know they are a sound fundamental team and play very good defense. They are a good team and clearly the 3rd best in the east. All I am saying is that offense is entertaining and that is what the league is all about. You can get defensive and up in arms all you want. I wasn't talking the Bulls down, simply stating the obvious.

Yea, yea: I was just giving you a hard time. Personally, I don't think offense is inherently more entertaining in basketball, nor do I think it "is what the league is all about." But I also like pitching duels in baseball.

I love defense in basketball. Don't get me wrong. I guess recently I have fallen victim to wanting to see more points scored. I do appreciate a game where teams have to earn their baskets though.

Yes, right now, that was off the top of my head, i didnt have to list Bosh, i could if i needed too.

Wade is the best SG in basketball, dropped 23 pts with 10 assists but he sucks, right?

Geez, the Clippers are really turning it on. DeAndre Jordan has really been the difference for them if you ask me.

What actually happened: Westbrook missed two bad late-game jumpers, including a step-back job with about two minutes left after the Clippers had switched DeAndre Jordan onto Westbrook — and with Durant standing passively on the weak side. Two bad shots, sure. Other Westbrook-related things that happened in the last 6:28 of that game: a fantastic Westbrook cross-court dime on a Derek Fisher 3-pointer; a similar pass to Reggie Jackson, who bricked an open 3; an assist on a Durant triple; an aborted hockey assist on a missed Durant 3, which Westbrook rebounded and kicked to Durant for another missed 3; a game-tying 3 from Westbrook himself; a driving basket; and two other pick-and-roll dishes to Durant that led to Durant misses.

With Westbrook, people only remember the two misses. The other stuff vanishes from the narrative. We have years of data showing the Thunder are better when both Westbrook and Durant play. The data this season, especially the lineup data, is shakier, but Westbrook is coming off three knee surgeries in less than a year! He’s rusty! Can we give the guy some time, please?
 
Couldn't have said it better myself. RW has done a great job moving the ball and running the PnR. Soon a higher percentage of his shots are going to fall and the Thunder are going to dominate again.

Its not his fault that crawford scored 35 and Barnes hit a bunch of threes.
 
its just been a disastrous year for the Knicks and you have to wonder if Melo wants to be a part of this any longer. Next year is going to be just as bad as this year but afterwards there might be light at the end of the tunnel. But basically, the Knicks have squandered 3 years of Melo's prime. Who knows if he is going to be this good for another year or two.

Hopefully him and Perry Jones. Adams is still really raw so some matchups just aren't for him yet but the guy still plays great defense and has solid hands.

I am looking forward to more Perry Jones. That guy keeps on getting better.
