This week is going to be so important for the NL East. It's not make-or-break for the division but the Phillies play the Nats and Marlins and need to take 4 of 6, at minimum. The Braves play the Dodgers and Rockies on the road and simply need to tread water. Thankfully, the Braves have played very well on the road.

Odd move. He was awfully good until this year and did alright in Washington before stinking up Toronto. Seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction on the part of the Blue Jays unless they are hoping he gets claimed before they release him and they are off the hook for some money.

Only issue I see is that he's LH and would prefer we have another quality RHP. How do rosters work for the playoffs and players claimed in September? Hard to keep up with all the changes. Used to be that he'd have to be on the 40 man before Sept to be eligible, IIRC.
