The Coronavirus, not the beer

India is doing a great job.

Especially the areas that used Ivermectin as early treatment.

Considering the poor quality of their healthcare system and population density I think their outcome has been fantastic.

India has had 448K deaths, AUstralia has had 1,278.

India is doing better, as their vaccination rate is climbing.

If the only measurement of success is death, then the plot has been lost

who the hell would want to live in Australia right now?

we'll find out when they open up their borders again

i strongly suspect Australia will continue to see strong net inflows of people

some folks just enjoy living under tyranny

India CRUSHED the CCP virus when Ivermectin was introduced.

When you consider their population density and poor medical system their outcome has been fantastic.

Well if they do open up their infections are going to skyrocket.

Deaths so far from COVID:
Australia: 1,278
Florida: 54,067

And Australia has the larger population.

I'm not saying Florida should adopt Australia's strategy. But surely the folks in Australia are entitled to a little leeway in thinking that what they are doing is working for them, a few pesky dissenters and dead puppies notwithstanding.

i suspect they will reopen in a thoughtful and careful manner...each province has already announced a plan that is calibrated to its vaccination rate

but yeah generally every time restrictions get lifted or behavior gets relaxed there is an uptick in cases...but it is manageable if the country is highly vaccinated and uses high frequency testing to monitor the situation

I know you are old and scared and don't think your vax protects you, but the young people deserve to gain their livelihood and liberty back

Who needs two years of lost life.....

It is funny to me that the covid cowards are only able to assess results by covid deaths and not the hundreds of other externalities created by their policies.

You guys would be awful financial modelers.

I’m sure I got it from my daughter since she had it first… I’m sure she brought it back from school.

I got it from a niece who got it from school. It's anecdotal evidence but a lot of the case people I've known have had can be ultimately traced back to schools.

The lecturing buffoon continues to mock the slippery slope concept, but we are already towards the very bottom of the slope

Cases nationwide are down 33%

Deaths in NY are near pandemic lows.

Vaccines are readily available to anyone who wants one.

And NYC just fired tens of thousands of healthcare workers
