117th Congress

She is doing what she was taught in school. If you are offended or scared everyone has to cater to you so you arent offended or scared. Doesnt matter what the issue is. Only works if you have enough victim street cred. You cant be a white man claiming to be offended, no one cares. You gotta be a transgender or gay white man to get the victim street cred to be offended.

this is a good reminder that there are more U.S. senators

who are exactly age 88 than U.S. senators who are

40 and younger

And the anti legalization senators are almost exclusively the oldest farts in the Senate. That's enough reason for me. Ever see what they did to old people on that show Dinosaurs that was a sit com many years ago? Thinking something like that.

I am concerned if I am veering into your reality. Reminds me of the time I saw a song that said "Now entering the district of Sheila Jackson Lee". I nearly set a land speed record getting outta there.

I...I completely agree.

Significant night for Progressive Caucus.
For the recordd, $3.5T is spit in the bucket.

Not sure how these proposals hurts anyone here
Weak kneed sheep will be weak kneed sheep.

I think pot holes (real and figurative) are more a symbol of tyranny than public health mandates

For what it's worth, I would be in favor of actually spending $3.5 trillion on infrastructure. Unfortunately this bill is nothing like that.

Also, I agree with Bernie here. Good for him:

"It is an absurd way to do business, to be negotiating a multi-trillion-dollar bill a few minutes before a major vote with virtually nobody knowing what's going on. That's unacceptable. And I think what has got to happen is that tonight, the bipartisan infrastructure bill must be defeated."

Agreed. Would be easy to get this done if we closed the border and stopped needless wars.

For this I agree with you that this is ridiculous

I actually don't mind this. The Senate should be a more deliberative body. Let the young firebrands populate the House. Leave the Senate to the older, more cautious, and hopefully wiser people.

Weirdly the lecturer didn't give us this Amash update

The world is a global aristocracy now.

Thats why they wanted Trump out so bad because he called it out and was ending it.

There were zero house amendments debated on the floor under Trump.

2017 was the first year there were none. There have been none since

Oh there was a massive amount of resistance to Trump and the movement. The fake news media made sure that we didn't continue gains in 2018 and of course the cheating in 2020.

The country is turning.

Have faith.
