i believe many professions hire people based on their physical and mental ability to perform the job...so there are de facto fitness criteria that already work against the obese

plus of course there is a fair amount of social pressure in the form of body shaming, etc

plus i dunno if you have ever been in a management position where you conduct interviews...let me just say the range of things that people look at when hiring someone is quite broad...and generally do not work in favor of obese people

if only we could bring similar forces to bear against those with a homicidal pro-covid ideology!

to be honest if i was interviewing someone with views similar to you and sturg about vaccines there is zero chance i would hire them...it would be indicative that they have many screws loose...hard pass

i had a dedicated conspiracy theorist on my payroll not so long ago...been there done that

when covid hit, all my other workers were happy to have software installed on their computers so they could work from home...the conspiracy theorist had objections

Thats the only qualification that matters.

I hired someone who had schizophrenia and she was a great worker...generally i keep an open mind about people...this person explained to me her condition and what i should expect and she was a fantastic hire...extremely bright and a hard worker...just once in a while she would have a meltdown of sorts and we all kind of learned how to help her get through it

but the conspiracy theorist didn't want certain software on her computer...so i had to let her go...she got into her mind that i was going to spy on her or something...maybe she intuited i was a tyrant
