not really...these individuals go on with their lives (maybe there are externalities on their family and children but a responsible parent should presumably be able to internalize something like that when making their choice)

their employers carry on...hire someone new if necessary

this is no different from any commercial relationship where an employer and employee decide to part ways... turnover in an economy such as the American economy is a quite common thing btw

An externality, or a side effect or consequence of a decision made that wasn't included in the original forecast, would include the transportation industry coming to a halt because workers are uniting against a vaccine mandate.

Yes to a handful of workers.

No to a unification resulting in a large percentage of cancellation and delays.

You also have a blind spot in thinking this is an isolated incident. This is just the beginning as long as these tyrannical mandates exist.
