I'm not saying Pache shouldn't be in. Simply saying Heredia didn't necessarily F-up. I agree that between choice of a guy that can't hit and is at best a league average defender and a guy that can't hit and is a potential gold glover, you need to go the gold glover...

The 3 batter rule is really highlighting the concept of protection required both in from and behind your best hitters in the lineup.
You clearly don’t understand what a “BP game” is, the benefits of such a strategy, nor how the strategy is used.

Heredia play was bad but I’m not sure it effectively cost us anything.
15% catch probability and two runs likely score either way since there were 2 outs.
I don’t love IBB in a close game unless it’s the 9th inning. Would have preferred to see Luke come in to face Smith. Once he hit Turner and moved the runner to third, it neutralized his best pitch.

Well, they could do anything other than batting them back to back, but I would not lead either of those guy off.
Simply flipping Freeman and Albies would help. Batting Freeman 1 and Rosario 3 would help. Moving Riley to the 2 hole and sliding everyone down a slot would help.
Almost anything…

I know what you mean but don’t worth to kill our bullpen this is a series. You know better that none of the Braves starters will be pitching more that 5-6 innings. We can’t throw our most reliable pitchers every single day because and the end of the series they will be exhausted. If we want to have a real chance to beat the Dodgers we need our bullpen 100% for games 5-6 and 7 if we make it that far.
