Ozuna's arm is the bigger issue (unless he's added about 40 pounds during his respite).
His wife says it's strong.
Too soon?

the past 2 games were so awesome
board a flight to LA in a few hours lol
As you say, both mutual options. I have to believe--but could easily be wrong--that Duvall is angling for at least two years of guaranteed money with no options attached. I would think Pederson would gladly jump at $10 MM, but I can't see the Braves doing that. I really like Pederson and I think he realizes that "he is who he is" at this point in his career so he's probably not banking on a big payday. I just wonder if the Braves see him as worth $10 MM.
Rosario and Soler are free agents who won't get a qualifying offer. DH likely coming to the NL really changes the market for Soler to his advantage.
You can’t be serious. He is by far the best hitter of the bunch, and would probably DH next year.
Ozuna was just as bad defensively in 2020. And will be older and presumably more out of shape than before.
Here we are in the NLCS and both teams have/had issues of an embarrassing nature with a star player but there is no mention on either since August. Not in print and I havent heard any reference on any of the TV coverage. Is it possible the teams have been advised of the off season outcome?
I doubt it. But I do believe the broadcasts have been advised not to mention them.

I’ve seen plenty in print about both players. It’s also been mentioned here and there on many broadcasts.
Not eligible for a QO.
I do not think any of the Braves OF pickups are more valuable on the open market than they were last season.
Other than Duvall they all had bad years and Duvall is just kind of who he is.
Soler got paid a shade over $8 MM in 2021 and I can see him getting a little more than that. Rosario also came in around $8 MM and that's probably a reasonable ceiling for him. Both these guys are hovering around 30 and were in the midst of lousy seasons (like you say) before they came to Atlanta, which should pump the brakes on their market. That said, I never underestimate the stupidity of some front offices.
I should have been more clear in my original post. With the mutual options, I think Duvall will opt out in an attempt to get a solid multi-year deal somewhere and the Braves won't pick up Pederson at $10 MM. I'm not advocating either way on any of the four.
If we get to the World Series and Soler isn't available who will be the DH in the AL park? We don't seem to have much to choose from after Soler.

I’d guess he’ll be ready by game 6 of this series.
Move pache in the field?
