Bill took a lot of garbage, a lot of it he brought on himself, but I’ll give his due. This was a class post on his part. A lot of people who talk before a series usually don’t say anything if their proven wrong.

Was at a friends bday dinner all night. Luckily the waitress was nice enough to bring me a phone charger so I could watch this game since of course we went to a place with no TV.

She was a Dodgers fan, and stopped coming by our table to check the score after Rosario hit the 3 run bomb.

Maybe the Braves are finally that team that gets hot at the end of the season and wins it all. 4 more wins are all we need.

For the past 20+ years I’ve been waiting for a Braves player to pull a Beltran and carry the team to a series victory. Chipper, the greatest Brave of my generation, never did it. Sheffield never did it. Andruw never did it. Heyward never came through. I was sure Justin Upton was going to do it, but nope. The current greatest Brave, Mr Freeman, hasn’t done it (well, not exactly). The greatest future Brave, Acuna, hasn’t done it either.

None of those elite offensive forces have carried the Braves to a series victory. But the guy AA acquired for the dead weight named Pablo Sandoval puts up a 1.646 OPS and carries the team to the World Series.

Unreal.

My face is starting to hurt from smiling and laughing all evening since the game ended. I would have never guessed this could happen back in the All Star Break. Such a resilient team. Great night for Braves Country.
