Buzz for what? They are only going to get worse....

You don't know that. You are assuming that. What happens if Plumlee turns into an effective starting center? What happens if they are then able to trade Lopez for assets? What happens if Deron is healthy. There are so many variables that goes into a team being good or not.

You thought the Knicks would be good this year. Anything can happen.

BTW, slick how you used a month and a half threshold because in the first few days of January they beat OKC and Miami.

Was on my phone and just went back a month.....let's go back 3 months because that's relevant.

LOL....Plumlee a starting C.....seriously? Who is going to give you anything for a Center who can't stay healthy and is signed to a max deal?

Plumlee has some skills and on a certain team he can be a starting C. You aren't going to need a C that can score on the low block on all teams. But someone that can defend and run the floor and I think Plumlee can do that.

He will get abused by starting Centers.

So you know how he will progress? Do you know how hard he works?

The guy is a great athlete for his size. He is having a solid impact on the team in his rookie season. I think its worth seeing what he can do. Nobody is saying he will be a star.

The Nets offensive rating is 19th in the NBA. Their defensive rating is 19th in the NBA. Their "pythag" is 25-33. They are 23rd in the NBA in attendance. They are about the most boring team in the NBA with a bunch of aging players and one of the most unathletic point guards in the NBA. Why the **** is there even a discussion of this team? They are essentially the Hawks of the past few years.

The Nets prior to 2014 is completely different to what they are now. They had no clue what their rotations should be and how to play with eachother.

Are you really going to deny that they have been good since the new year? They have one of the best records in the NBA since then.

No, but I know how big he is and I know how big other NBA centers are. Look at Plumlee and tell me how he is going to guard Hibbert in the post.

Hibbert is actually a bad example because his offensive skills are iffy.

Again, there aren't dominant offensive centers (which is what makes Gasol so good). I think he can absolutely guard them.

You know there is more to being a center than guarding guys that can score, right? You have to be able to rebound, box out, fit through screens, etc, etc, etc

Bulls were coming off a back to back, had to fly from Chi to BK....most teams suck on the 2nd night of a back to back. Not surprising. In the last month and a half every good team they have played, they lost to...aside from Spurs and Duncan, Diaw, Leonard, TP and Manu didn't play. Wake me up when they beat a top team

They've beat Miami twice.

I know and I believe because Plumlee is so athletic and smart (from all accounts) that he will learn these things. Again, he isn't going to be a star but I can see him becoming a very reliable center.

Once was without Wade, Chalmers and Battier and the other was a 1 point victory....You take the Nets, I'll stick with Miami, deal?

Can you read?

I never said Brooklyn was better than Miami, you said name a top team they beat, they beat Miami twice.

Anything else.

Christ, you're dense.
