We only need a 4th-5th SP type for 8-10 mil, with Soroka hopefully back by June/July. Plus alot of internal options can cover some innings. I wouldnt have been mad if we got Verlander though.

I would be willing to bet that AA offered a 1 year deal at 20 million with a team option. And if that’s the case then the payroll is a lot higher than any of us thought.
