The Coronavirus, not the beer

Lets get an update now that the CDC has released the past weeks metrics:

The northeast saw an increase in the 7 day average hospitalization rate of 17.0% this past week.

The southeast saw a decrease in the 7 day average hospitalization rate of 12.8% this past week.

Not only is the northeast seeing an increase in hospitalization but the rate at which their hospitalizations are growing in increasing. Second order derivative for any Math peeps still around. This is an even worse sign.

Funny thing is that its the same case in the Southeast in the OPPOSITE direction.

The northeast saw an increase in the 7 day average hospitalization rate of 14.5% this past week.

The southeast saw an increase in the 7 day average hospitalization rate of 3.1% this past week.

It was inevitable for the South East to get some hospitalization increase since they decreased for about 3 months straight. But its interesting to see now that the North East is still accelerating and the base figures are starting to grow to numbers of significance considering population rates.

Why don't we get an update on this as well (for my guy MS)?

5 Most vaccinated

Vermont 10
Connecticut 33
Massachusetts 66
Maine 26
Rhode Island 9

And in the 5 most lightly vaccinated states

West Virginia 52
Wyoming 24
Idaho 36
Alabama 41
Mississippi 14

So one of the highest vaccinated states is taking the crown right now on most hospitalizations.

Also important to note that all of the 5 least vaccinated states are seeing a reduction in 7 day average hospitalization WoW (week over week) while the 5 most are seeing increases.

Guess the lecturer doesn't want to comment. Massachusetts might need more sinks.

COVID cowards are pathetic collection of people.

The vaccine aint working as described so lets stick kids with it. Awful.

Where is the lie? Lockdowns do work. The problem is getting people to abide by the lockdown. And the time for that was way back when it was first hitting the US. Once Bozo the clown ignored it until it was too late there was no point in lockdowns other than to slow the spread.

So you supported trump issuing a China-like lockdown?

Oh look Rhonda Patrick posting about covid thriving in bodies with adipose tissue saying there seems to be a direct relation in serious cases.

I’m shocked. I’m actually more shocked someone thought fat people weren’t as affected. Anyone that’s spoken to and ICU worker in the last 2 years knew this
