What’s weird is people are so invested in having a government run healthcare system that they can’t look at one abroad with a backlog of six million people waiting for care and manage to muster the slightest criticism, or even pause. They need to pivot to creating an alternative straw man system and knock that down instead.

Price of “x” temporarily rises in a crisis in response to supply/demand factors and left wing politicians trip over themselves rushing to tell us how capitalism must be restrained and the market is broken. Meanwhile, a government run system leads to a shambolic result and no one can be bothered to lift an eyebrow. Isn’t a six million person backlog pretty damning proof that a system isn’t working properly?
