Spring Training Gamethread/Discussion

I'd say its about 95% that he will be unless he gets injured. When have the Braves ever given up on a player in April?

It wouldn't be just one month. It would be 2+ years of suckage. THe Braves will not hesitate. He wasn't even on the playoff roster last year.

I agree. Stella will get a chance once his service time in no longer an issue. Uggla has a month or so to build his trade value (or continue to **** all over it).

Just now getting a chance to watch today's game. That play Simmons made backing up Uggla in the first inning was very nice.

The ones who don't get it, are the ones who accept meaningless regular season wins.

You've got to get in the playoffs before you can win in the playoffs. Would you rather the Braves be the Royals and go 30 years without getting into the playoffs with only 1 or 2 of those years ending up with a winning record?

Looks like Uggla is getting desperate and trying something new -

He must've noticed those recent pictures of Harper.

Niners didn't say we sucked. He just doesn't buy that we were "scary good". In honesty, we weren't scary good. We had a couple of short bursts of excellent baseball surrounded by mediocrity. Now, if we rebound at 2nd base and CF, we certainly could be a 'scary good' team and see an incredible fight to the finish with Washington. And for the record, I think the Nats will rebound and have a terrific season.
