To be fair that's the default (18 months) image on gas buddy. Taking it out 4 years you get this.

It never got over $3 under Trump and was in a pretty steady decline starting in 4/20/19. The bottom fell out in early/mid 2020 but even when that rebounded it seemed to be on the same course it was on prior looking at the chart. That was until Biden got elected and its been rising at a staggering rate.

Context matters. COVID restrictions were rampant all in 2020. People were travelling less, supply and demand and all that jazz. The rebound happened because they basically stopped producing oil. They just barely started really doing it again.

Also gas was trending to the north of 3 range. it was on trend to be similar to this year. Though ti wouldn't have the high.

I have serious doubts gas would be over $3 right now if Trump had remained President with or without the pandemic. In fact it likely would have stayed just north of $2. Literally the week Biden won prices started soaring.

Did you just ignore all of 2019? When gas touched $3 a gallon?

Look at historical gas prices, the gas companies continue to push the price til they find a pushback number, or until the economy tanks.

There would be essentially no difference between if Trump was in office and Biden other than a faster turn around because Trump would have done as much as he could have to kowtow to the oil companies. We lost a lot because of COVID and the rough weather this year. I think I read something like 130 refineries shut down permanently last year. Which wait, let me look at as to who was in office. oh right Trump.

Ironically he mentions wanting to get Soros out but doesn't mention Koch backed judge campaigns. I wonder why.

You’re such a fool. Soros puts in radical DAs that are effectively pro criminal and then crime rates skyrocket in those areas.

I have been openly against the Koch brothers so I have no need to defend anyone that takes the establishment republicans money that only hurts American people.

The facts are the facts. Look at the areas where Soros has installed his soldiers. It’s a disaster.
