Even reasonable people are victim to the mass programming. It’s a shame.
Vaccinating healthy and young people was always a stupid decision.
But I guess I’m glad that these people at statistically zero risk got the equivalent of another lottery ticket of protection. 100% increase in protection!!

I will say that the vaccine likely reduced spread signigantly from the OG virus. But that changed with Delta and Omnicron is just blowing through everything. Not even natural immunity works against it. The good news is that Omnicron isn't that serious and will likely give people that get it good protection going forward.

I looked at that twitter thread. The author called himself a data guy but his use of data was cringeworthy. Assuming his numbers are 100% correct (twitter is not known for rigorous methodology), he's still drawing conclusion he has nowhere near enough information to draw. His numbers are surface level at best. Lumping in all non-covid natural causes deaths together and saying the vaccine caused the increase is just a wild statement. You have to break down the causes way more than that.
I looked at the tweet last night and can't go back and look again as its been taken down but the graphs he showed also made me suspicious. I don't like seeing graphs with conveniently curated snapshots of time. It can make ordinary statistical noise look significant.
If this is the best evidence supporting that the vaccines are dangerous then go ahead and sign me up for more doses. This is damning with faint proof.

The VAERS data is the most misconstrued thing on the planet right now. VAERS isn't a comprehensive list of confirmed harmful events caused by vaccines. It's a catchall of everything bad that has happened after a vaccine whether related or not. It's an early warning system if the reports start showing patterns that go outside of normally expected parameters.
For example, car accident deaths are included in VAERS if they happen after a vaccine is given. A poor look at VAERS would look at the deaths following a vaccine and count that as a death caused by the vaccine. In reality, it's included to ensure there's nothing outside ordinary expected figures. If car accident deaths were twice the expected amount after a vaccine, you would want to investigate to see if the vaccine was causing something like bouts of fainting or dizziness that might increase the likelihood of being in a bad car accident.
You need to compare events in VAERS to a standard baseline to see if anything has a statistically significant variation from what is expected.
It is literally the same exact basis as COVID so you should compare the two events.
It is also pretty much known its underreported so there is that....

I just did a post on how VAERS is being misread.
Some of the athletes dropping dead is based on bias. If you see something happen several times you might ascribe significance to it when it's just part of the ordinary curve. You might even start looking for events and so see more and think there's something going on.
There have been a higher than average number of cardiac arrests among professional soccer players lately. However this has hit both vaccinated and unvaccinated players (something that's near fatal to your theory). It's entirely possible this is just a meaningless outlier or it could be attributed to something else all together.
The massive increase in mortality? Look at the figures for Covid deaths. There was a massive surge last winter after the vaccine was released but before it was universally available. Then there was a surge again in early fall caused mostly by Delta among unvaccinated.
You're acting like your proof is absolute when your "proof" is terrible.

Adverse events after vaccines are underreported, but that's also baked into the baseline that's monitored. It's not compared to the baseline of what you'd expect to see in the normal population, it's a baseline of what you'd expect reported. VAERS is there to spot things jumping out of the ordinary.
When you just look at VAERS, you're seeing raw numbers. You have nothing to compare it to. Professionals monitoring VAERS have baselines of what they expect to see.
Massive increase in mortality for age groups that have very low mortality rates (aside from obese).
