Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

Games must take 7 hours with everyone showboating every play.

Eventually the entire infield will bounce around the mound like winning game 7 but do it after every strike.

They are in the Dominican League playoff finals right now and it looks like their whole team comes out on a homerun like they do in college baseball sometimes. It's awesome.

It's funny. Even articles about the this series on mlb.com can't mention current MLB players so no mention at all of Ozuna even though he was tied for the league lead in homers at 4. He's slashed 317/389/519.

Also, our old friend Melky Cabrera has been playing in the Dominican League this year.

Just look at his sexy body!

Man looks like he is motivated and ready to have a monster season.

Did anyone say repeat champs?

Ozuna is about to win two titles in a row (MLB WS And Dominican League title) He can't be stopped.

But yes, Ozuna giving us a 115-120 WRC+ in left/DH would be really nice. Sign Freeman then roll with that until the deadline and hopefully make a splash for a hitter for LF to push Ozuna to DH fulltime.

TDA will have a monster season in our DH spot in the second half while Longo asserts himself as a top 5 defensive catcher in the big leagues.

Check out this 3rd inning HR celebration by Ozuna

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZAWTwnTtok

It's like an elaborate TD celebration, and considering how many TDs are scored compared to how many HRs are hit, it's probably in line with what's expected in modern sports.

I don't like those types of celebrations in any sport because I much prefer the Justin Upton type player who just beats you and then walks off the field as if it's no big deal because he knew he was going to beat you. However, the reality of the situation is baseball needs to stay relevant, and celebrations like this will help it do so.

I just booked two night in July at the Omni for the Nats. Suite with Balcony overlooking field.

Questions...
1. how are views. I have king suites which I think are on the center field corner of hotel.. they said they will note me on the 8/9 floor.
2. pool good to view game too, or too crowded
3. should I even consider tickets to one of the games

things I learned
1. Braves are part owner in the omni... that must bring in some money there
2. valet is crazy expensive.. but oh well.
3. MLB needs to get their **** together so I don't have to cancel this trip!!!

July...you're going to be good.

Braves are coming to Dallas at the end of April. They usually come once every 6 years and they were last supposed to come in 2020 but we know how that season worked out. So yeah...I'm gonna be pissed if they don't come this year.

Question 1 - As long as you're 8th floor (or higher) you're golden. 7 is iffy.
Question 2 - Pool area is iffy. Will be crowded for that series, and if you can't get well over on either side the State Farm sign gets in the way.
Question 3 - As long as your balcony is high enough, I wouldn't.
