What do the somewhat normal democrats here have to say about Biden trying to march us into a war that could result in WW3?

I actually like the initial concept and also don’t think the government needs to get involved.

However, in practice it’s a ****ing nightmare. It’s presently a system that is rife with fraud because there’s no real way to address it (not that adding government to the mix is the answer). It generally serves early adopters and rich buyers because the only coins worth a damn require you to have been there when it was cheap or equipment to mine it that takes up so much energy and require so much initial capital that nobody can afford to do so. It’s now evolving into the NFT market that is insane to me because most of the money exchanges are for links of a ****ing jpeg or insane **** like Cryptoland where you’re just paying money to speculate on wildly unlikely outcomes like some tech dweebs being able to buy an island paradise where you’ll get a tract of land eventually. It’s a vicious circle jerk where anybody who expresses any question or doubt is accused of spreading FUD and is shunned, no matter how silly the project is. That said, I still don’t think the government needs to address it. Let these idiots get scammed in peace.

I largely agree. The crypto space is full of scams and idiots.

But Bitcoin specifically is a treasure. It is anti fiat and it will outlast the us dollar. It's a threat to the government therefore the government is acting against it

I said something about loving govt is stupid and made fun of and laughed at the guy who calls everything/everyone a pedophile is upset about the currency that is used for kiddie porn might get some oversight

No, i have one more week till I find out it wasn’t real. That’s the 3 weeks you told me

But I’ll keep ya informed on any updates at stores I go in and how the destruction of western civilization is going cause a store could be out of something on that day if ya want.
