The one in Maryland is hilarious …they manage to conveniently find a way to get a piece of Baltimore in every district
I was reliably told this was not a “both sides” issue…
If districts were drawn properly, the country would be much much more bluer or purple than it is now. Georgia would have had a predominant blue color to it already. Be careful what you wish for.
The district that engulfs all of Savannah, a city with a metro population of approaching 400k, and is a city that's 60% black, is currently a safe red district because of how it absorbs the surrounding coastline of rural areas (like.the area Ahmaud Arbery was murdered).
In a perfect world, the founders wanted the House of Reps to expand beyond the current number. If the House of Reps expanded with America's population growth we should be over 500 House reps easily.

This is accurate. But if we were still doing things the way the founders wanted them then federalism would still be a thing and it wouldn't matter nearly as much which crooks had control in DC.
Its so bad we are going to do it even worse.
