Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

No big deal just the white house encouring private companies to censor

The slippery slope is here... The lefts urge to censor (and success in doing so) in the private sector has spilled over to public sector.

Free speech is under assault

Facebook shutting down DC Truckers group.

Seize all of Zuckerbergs money and all executives. I'm not even kidding. You are not more important than the United States of America you commie ****s.

They didn't shut down any groups during Arab Spring but they shut down some guys who just parked their trucks? They aren't even trying to hide it.

Are the folks who cry about attacks on democracy worried about the attack on peaceful protestors?

hahahahahahah of course not! Tyrant Tradeau called them racists, so the clapping seals repeat

C'mon liberals... speak up and let us know if you support the suppression of peaceful protests

The spotify rogan thing is really something to watch.

The establishment hates Rogan because he makes them look bad and he has significant reach. The establishment is pushing back in unison. The WH is pressuring spotify to censor.

I know our pro censor liberals on here have ran away like little girls... but do they really want us going down this path? Do they really think Rogan is "dangerous by talking words in a microphone and interviewing experts in their field? Do they really think this stops here?

when are the "liberals" gonna speak up? Protect speech? Protect civil rights? They seemt o have been completely lost to the regime

I thought Rogan had total control over his stuff on Spotify. If he does and he’s the one pulling certain episodes down, I’d like to know why.

Since you ignored this in the other thread

“I support free speech. I have never been in favor of censorship. Private companies have the right to choose what they profit from, just as I can choose not to have my music support a platform that disseminates harmful information,” Young said. “I am happy and proud to stand in solidarity with the front line health care worker who risk their lives every day to help others.”

He added that his music was still available to stream on Amazon, Apple Music and Qobuz — with better sound quality.

“As an unexpected bonus, I sound better everywhere else,” Young said.

Dude.. Neil YOung said "it's either Joe Rogan or me"

How is that "supporting free speech"?

Why do you all always defend this.

But since we're on the topic of things ignored... can you respond to a few things?

No big deal just the white house encouring private companies to censor

"liberals"

As you continue to show... you're on the side of the censors. You are free to condemn any of this... but you support it because it furthers your religious agenda.

How is Neil Young expressing his right on what platform people consume his music, aka his right to his property, not supporting free speech? He's saying if Spotify wants rogan that's fine, it doesn't get him. Isn't that free speech?

Why do you censor Neil's right to free speech?

...wut?

Young can do whatever he wants... but the fact that he did an ultimatum proves he does not support free speech at all. He wanted spotify to censor someone else in order to keep his music on their platform.

I realize you are defending an indefensible position but surely you see the issue with your argument, right?

Ok let's say you owned a business (lol) would you not want to have the ability to control what place you sell it? Say someone who does something you hate, would you not want to pull the stuff from said store knowing you won't really lose any money?

I don't think this is remotely indefensible. I think this is about as easy of an argument to make as possible.
