Whenever Desantis runs (24.28.32) he is going to destroy the Democrat candidate.

I’m not actually disagreeing with Republicans having a very good shot in November, but keep in mind that the Democratic primary in Texas was basically Beto against a chair, whereas there were several fairly competitive Republican primary races. I wouldn’t be using Texas as an indicator. Biden’s lack of popularity and the general trend away from the incumbent party are better benchmarks than a primary turnout.

Hispanics are the indicator.

Trump carried much larger percentages than expected in 20 and the polling is showing that pickup is not only sticky but has grown.
