It's a quote after Putin had already annexed various parts of Georgia and Ukraine. But I'm not a psychologist so I will refrain from further commentary about you finding Putin to be "completely rational."

This conflict has been handled positively by the Biden administration. Shocked as I am, anyone who says different is an obvious partisan hack.

A little odd that he practices extreme social distancing when meeting with his advisors but not with a bunch of flight attendants. Hopefully one of them can give him something.

Stalin died March 5 (the movie aint bad)
Alexander II was murdered on March 13
Nicolas II abdicated March 15 ("the Ides of March")

Putin increasingly resembles a little Stalin. For an understanding of what this means, I recommend:

The subtitle is important because the sycophancy of the people around Putin is highly reminiscent of the people who surrounded Stalin. There was one exception to the fawning people that surrounded Stalin. Georgy Zhukov. Stalin valued his competence and was willing to accept his bluntness. Will Putin find a Zhukov (or even a Rokossovsky). Let's hope not.

Harry Truman had an instinctive understanding of how to deal with Stalin. FDR not so much.

The west handed Putin this victory. Just an embarrassing stage in the never ending comedy that is the party of davos.

Interesting to hear Bolton say very poorly chosen one would have pulled out of NATO in a second term. Glad we never got to find out. I'm sure that the boyz are sad this never came to fruition.

I’m glad they don’t see it because they may be able to pivot in time to survive. But they are unable to see all they’ve done wrong.
 
well comrades...i'm sorry that more and more people are seeing your boy Putin for the reckless mediocrity he's always been...a petty little man with all sorts of issues having to do with paranoia and hyper-aggrievement and a warped sense of reality...too bad the people of Ukraine are dying and suffering for it...at least for those of us in these parts it's just trash littering a discussion board...something to be thankful for
