Falcons may take a run at either of the Fin's outgoing DT's.

They have any depth there to replace both of them with?

They need to sign Brown. Can't go into the draft and FA needing 2-3 DB's.

Meh Brown had his chance to re-sign and he didn't like the offer. That money then went to extending Brock during the season. Brown will test the free agent market and when he finds out that he isn't going to get paid he'll come crawling back to the 49ers. Or some team desperate for secondary help signs him to a deal where he's vastly overpaid.

@AdamSchefter: Short of a trade in the next 2 days, Bucs expected to release Darrelle Revis by 4 p.m. Wed., per league sources.

Remember when thethe was loving that trade. Takling about how great the trade was? Revis wound up being worse than both of Atlanta's corners they drafted.

Is Revis really considered no good any more?
I really don't know. If so, it's crazy how quickly CBs can fall off. They can have a great few seasons, but just fall flat.
Makes signing or trading for guys in the secondary very dicey.

Revis was not great last year. But he wasn't terrible either. He has a few years left in the tank, he's just not Revis Island anymore. Happens to all of the best corners. YOu lose 2 steps and you can't keep up with the young bucks

Look at Nnamdi when the Eagles signed. He was the best corner in football and now he's out of the league in what three years?
