Global Events & Politics Überthread

So you won’t address the fact that we know with certainty the US played a roll in the revolution. Like you said. This stuff is messy and the US “won” that battle but what we are seeing now is a continuation of the choices the US made. Poke a tyrant enough and the tyrant will go and be a tyrant.

And of course it’s the people of Ukraine and Russia that suffer the games of powerful people. If you think the US did what they did for the poor Ukrainian people then you are even more brainwashed then I thought.

The suffering as far as I can tell is due to one man. Vlad the Bad is the one bombing cities and sending Russian boys to be slaughtered. Hopefully, someone near him will slip some polonium into his coffee.

And what of the people in the Donbas region that were continually attacked by the Ukrainian (US) army for the past 8 years? I’m guessing that as well is the fault of one man?

There are a lot of models some better than others for how to resolve that. Catalonia, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Slovakia, Texas etc, etc.

I don't think what has happened in the Donbas in any way justifies Vlad the Bad's War.

But hey if you find anything new on the Ukrainian Nazis or bio weapons labs please post.

Ah, so you are ok with that. Got it.

What justified the shellings of Donbas?

Don’t you think these continued aggressions went into the calculus of Putin’s invasion?

If your answer is no then you’re simply a child.

If the people of Donbas want a system with more autonomy then that should be something that can worked out in a peaceful way. Their elected representatives can enter into negotiations with the central government. As I said there are various legal frameworks for dealing with things like that.

None of these matters justifies Vlad the Bad's criminal activities in Ukraine. The dude should be hoisted on a scaffold and hanged. And people like you should have to eat the **** that comes out of his dead body.

They did vote for their preference in an election which was later overturned by the US.

Suck in that child.

don't tell me there's not a lust for war in this country

i'm the one advocating for peace via Vlad the Bad's demise, with just desserts (you can even add the condiment of your choice...i hear ketchup goes well with dead man's ****) for his minions like you and thethe

You’re the guy that punches first and then calls for peace after.

Child

Count me in favor of stopping all world leaders who drop bombs, drones, and rockets on other countries.

i believe you are the one who characterized the choices as doing nothing or nuking putin

when you narrow the choices like that, it seems to me an attempt to discredit all efforts to stop vlad the bad from his murderous rampage

reasonable people would have interest in discussing the range of choices in between

you not so much

Well that doesn't have anything to do with my comment. I want all bombs stop being dropped. You want some bombs stop being dropped.

But where is your line before you're willing to sacrifice more young blood in this country and of course furthering indenting us?
