Seattle wins title and all of a sudden def backs get crazy money.

Worst time for Skins to need safety bc All of them got way overpaid. All bc of thomas/chancellor. Last year safeties were cheap

The Jaguars have been one of the worst situations in the last 5 years (not helped by the poor play of Gabbart). He still has solid physical skills and is young enough where he could still develop into a worthy addition to a roster. Again, for a sixth round pick the 49ers are banking on Harbaugh being able to improve him.

I don't see any down side to Jonathan Martin. Harbaugh knows him as well as anyone and if he thought he was a problem he would not have given his blessing to come into here. I could see him taking over at LG when Iupati leaves.

Shocked thethe loves every SF move.

What is there not to like about the move. Its a sixth and CONDITIONAL seventh round pick.

The 49ers have about a million of those. Why should I not like the moves that Baalke has made? 49ers have been the best team over the last 3 years cumulatively. Sucks we haven't won a SB but the results have still been excellent teams.

Bc u go overboard like usual. I think Roberts is a solid pickup for the Skins but certainly not blaring that its best move ever.

Both Martin and Gabbert are bleh deals. Could work out, odds are neither move will make much impact. And SF lost whitner and added Bethea with same money

Yet, SF is having a great offseason!

Again, i dont see the big deal here.

SF has 700 draft picks, trading a late round pick for Martin and even Gabbert isnt that bad.

Not being a big deal is exactly right. Not a good move, not a terible move. Probably negligible.

Did I ever say these were GREAT moves?

The Bethea deal is actually 21 million from recent news.

The martin trade I don't care about, they lose nothing if they cut him. The Gabbert one makes me lol though because he's been about as hot garbage as a QB can be since he came into the league giving up anything for him was kinda dumb because he's well on his way to free agency.

Was the Jaguar situation one that led itself to success? Not trying to defend Gabbart but sometimes the situations you are put in help the player.

Probably true.

SF doesnt have many holes, low risk/high reward.

Surprised they signed Bethea over Whitner at similar #'s.

Nevermind, saw it was 21 mil, not 26.

Same AAV as Davis/Shields but still a little worrisome given his past.

Ward deal a bargain, market value/slight overpay for Talib.

Sounded like DRC had a similar offer from Elway, never took it, Talib got it.

So DRC is a free agent?

So GF, are you going to find where I said that SF is having a great offseason or are you just going to post things that people never said in the future?

So you dont like the moves?

I certainly don't hate the moves. You could like some moves and not think they are the greatest of all time.

I know I go overboard basically all the time but this was one of the few instances where I didn't.

According @RapSheet of NFL Network, the #Falcons have called the #Bucs about CB Darrelle Revis. They are trying to trade him by 4 p.m.

I think the Martin trade could be huge down the road. He is in a good situation now, and he is a talented kid.

No way you trade him in division unless you get a 1 back, NO WAY.
