Dave Roberts Guarantees Dodgers Will Win World Series

Dodgers pitching looks very thin - They don't have the horses to get it done this year. I think the Giants are a better playoff team than the Dodgers easy.

Giants are a fluke (or may been doing some sketchy stuff). Pretty much all of their position players had career years, and pretty much all of them did it at advanced ages, after they had seen significant decline in their skillset in years prior. That isn't sustainable. I highly doubt it's gonna happen again (or they'll get caught if they were indeed cheating).

Its possible. I really like Webb and guys like Gausman/Descalfani were highly regarded. Development isn't linear as you know and now they added another top flight arm.

The offense was sneaky good and if Belt finds a way to stay healthy (He has been a beast the last two years in limited play) I think they will continue to score runs.

But overall these things are very up and down year to year so smart money is on your side of the fence.

Gausman's stats quickly went downhill after the banning on foreign substances. Can't say I'm really surprised there. Especially given the drop we saw from Smyly last year after coming over from San Fran. Not saying he will be worthless, but I highly duobt you're gonna see him post another sub 3.00 ERA again.

Descalfani and Wood are solid but again, but much like Gausman, they saw a notable drop in production after the banning of sticky substances. And Wood seems unlikely to go more than 140 innings or so.

We all know RiRod's FA spin dropped by 200+ RPM after the sticky ban. Why nobody on the Braves knew that before they traded for him is beyond me, but we know some guys lost a ton of effectiveness without the sticky stuff.

Desclafani: 2206 to 2187
Gausman: 2292 to 2278

I see nothing suspicious. Wood throughs a sinker, so FA spin isn't a thing for him.

Looking at the spin of breaking balls:

Desclafani: 2155 to 2154
Gausman: 2314 to 2177
Wood: 2163 to 2095

Those Gausman breaking ball spin numbers do look suspicious...

I want a dynasty. I want the dynasty that we were denied in the 90’s.

We were not denied anything. We simply failed. Time to accept that. We might have an argument in 1991 and 1997. The Herbek play and Smith getting deaked cost us the series. Gregg's zone in game seven of the 1997 NLCS should have cost him his job as an ump. I don't know who paid him off but someone did, but other than that we just failed

Why you are taking that so far out of context and putting your own meaning on it is beyond me.
