I may go to the AEW show on Wednesday. MAY GO

I went to Double or Nothing in Jax last year. Totally worth it. Their ticket prices are way more affordable than WWE's.

Savannah just built a brand new arena and it opened last month. I really hope AEW comes back here instead of Charleston.

What’s the tv taping schedule? They film all
Four shows on one night? That could be almost four hours. Not a bad deal
If it wasn’t a work night. You’re right that it’s pretty cheap.

depends. If it’s like the week of a PPV they’ll have Rampage live in Friday’s.

but usually they film dark before Dynamite. Then Rampage after.

I would totally go if I were you. Because now that COVID has died down, they are finally going to the West Coast and Canada this year. It might be a while before they come back to Columbia. They’ve only been to Atlanta twice.

i drove the two hours from Savannah to Jax.

didn’t get home until like 1am and had to work at 6am.

I’ll go. My friends kid is planning on going to the airport around 945ish (near the end of dynamite) hoping to meet Jericho or cm punk on thier way out.

The show ends at 10pm. Then Rampage after. So some of the guys may not go to airport until later that night if not the next morning.

Besides, AEW guys only work once a week unless they do the universal dark tapings or a PPV.

WWE Raw came to Minneapolis the other night and Mrs. 50# and I went with two of her grandchildren and their parents. Target Center was packed. Had to be between 15,000 and 20,000 in the place. Place was rocking. Mrs. 50# and I had to laugh when the ticket taker looked at us and said "You don't look like wresting fans." I don't know any of the wrestlers or feuds as I haven't watched WWE in years (although I know Cody Rhodes is Dusty Rhodes' kid), but the kayfabe is still the same (although it's been toned down a bit). The one thing I noticed is that we appear to be in the post-steroid era as none of the wrestlers appeared to be super-ripped or artificially pumped up.

It’s been fun. We went to summer slam last year. It was dollar for dollar some of the best entertainment I’ve had

Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk have passed away. For Amy that haven't heard already.

Of all the guys who left the regionals to go to the WWE, I'm probably most disappointed in Funk. Not going to rag on a guy for making bank, but I never thought his routine played that well in the WWE after it went glitzy. I feel the same way about Bob Orton. Maybe cowboys don't play that well in NYC.

That said, Funk was awesome. The old schooler of all old schoolers.

AEW fires CM Punk the day they have a Saturday Night show in Chicago, and 24 hours before they have a PPV in the United Center.

Went to see Napolean last night and saw a preview of a movie about the Von Erich family that ran Texas area wrestling for years and hit it big in the 1980s. Tragic family story.
