1. why? this is a perfect precedent

2. congress not acting is anti democratic. I don't think its right for my tax dollars to fund mandates such as these. I'm not being represented. why are you anti-democracy?

I agree. It's sad that we're seeing record number of book bans in southern states. America is becoming less free and dumber by the week. It's up to the blue and purple syaayes to carry the banner of freedom as all a redstater needs is a gun and the right to marry their sister.

1. precedent for what? other court rulings have circumscribed the president's ability to prescribe mandates. Each ruling applies to a particular set of facts.

2. Congress generally does not act on a range of matters. At any moment it chooses an agenda to act upon, but the agenda is not all-encompassing. This may be disappointing. But it does not make it anti democratic.

I would say the imprisonment of Navalny is more important than the regrettable decision by the Boston Athletics Association. ymmv

The flight to red states has had yugely beneficial effects. Especially in Georgia, Texas and North Carolina. May both the flight and the beneficial effects continue.
