NBA Thread

Of course you don't care how well they have been playing since the start of 2014. It doesn't fit your narrative.

Miami does this every year....I don't get why you guys put so much into regular season games....this isn't the NFL. Miami gives ZERO ****s about the regular season.

I'll be sure to point back to this when the Nets are home and the Heat are in the ECF

Did I ever once say that the Nets would beat either Miami or Indiana in the playoffs? You aren't following the conversation my friend.

If thethe was a Knicks fan.....

Cole Aldrich is really good you guys, would be starting on most teams in the NBA if he wasn't stuck behind Tyson Chandler. Just you guys wait.....kid is going to be a good one!

Not a chance...once I saw Aldrich play for about 5 games I knew he was D-League material. I never pumped him up for the Thunder once I saw him play. Gives effort but he has no clue what he is doing out there and lacks basketball skills.

60% of the league is tanking......who cares.....If the Nets run through the Eastern Conference in the playoffs, I'll admit you were right. Until then? It's just the regular season and means next to nothing

I watch the Nets now...last night, last week, last month, in November, yada yada. This team is not good. They wouldn't be top 10 in the West. (Neither would the Wiz)

That's a lie, you were hyping him and Thabeet.....cute that you deny it now.

Yes, I did think Aldrich was good UNTIL I SAW HIM PLAY.

Thabeet is what he is. A solid 3rd center borderline backup guy off the bench. If you haven't noticed he has given the Thunder solid minutes since Perk went down. I still think there is development left in him. Guys that tall can take years before they can be productive. He won't ever be a starter but I think he will have a long career as a backup.

I never once said that that they were going to win anything other than a round this year. They may not even do that. You guys are already wrong for insisting that the Nets are a bad team which they are far from.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

thethe summed up PERFECTLY in that quote

His results in summer league games and reports of him in practice were encouraging. But they were just puff pieces and easy competition.

He would also get garbage time against scrubs and then when he started getting more minutes the true colors came out.

Did anyone say the Nets are better, no.

You said wait until they beat Miami when Wade is playing, and not off a B2B, boom.

Yet you make excuses for them, why does this not surprise me.

Did you watch the game?

If you did, you'd know even the Net announcers were saying that the Heat looked out of it and were just running through the motions.

Even still, the Nets have now beaten the Heat 2 times in 2014. Both of which were good wins. It was mostly James either way that was not at full bore. The other guys were going strong. The big concern with the Heat is that RayRay looks old and their bench otherwise seems week. If Wades legs start to fade in the playoffs then I think Indiana beats them. If Wade is healthy though then its going to be tough to beat the Heat at all.

Only way Indy beats them is if Bynum is healthy and actually playing well....otherwise Miami wins, Pacers aren't ready for the that moment. If they get a PG in the offseason, maybe

IN addition, the Heat were looking like they were going to blow out the Nets early on and Kidd basicallky told his team to sag on everyone but Bosh. While Lebron has improved his weakness is still his jump shot.

Sure they did, keep making excuses.

They took Mia to 7 last year with a worse team.

Not saying they'd beat them btw, basically depends how Wade is.

George is one of the few defenders who can really disrupt Bron.

What are you talking about? The game was a 4-5 point game the whole way.....the 1st quarter ended in a tie....unless you're talking about the 6 point lead they had stupid early in the 1st? Which you can't be, because that's just a dumb thing to say....Miami never had a lead over 7....how and when was this blow out coming?
