You know this sort of stuff happens a lot. Rudy Giuliani "shopped" the Hunter laptop story.
It is up to each reporter and news organization to vet those kinds of tips to the best of their ability.
And up to us as readers to consume the news in a discerning manner.
He 'shopped' a real story that should have given every single Biden 'voter' pause before the election.
The Russia Collusion hoax was a contrived lie to stop the populist movement from controlling America and the news agencies knew that from the beginning.

There are some things that are factually well established that form the basis for the collusion story
1) Extensive outreach and contacts between very poorly chosen one's campaign and a cast of characters affiliated in various ways with the Russian state
2) The above includes the Trump Tower meeting where Junior expressed excitement and eagerness about the prospect of the Russians providing dirt on Hillary to help the campaign
3) None other than campaign chairman Pavel Manafartov (later pardoned) was sharing proprietary internal poling with KGB agent Kilimnik with instructions on which Russians to forward it to
4) Negotiations were carried out through the summer of 2016 on a lucrative real estate deal in Moscow
5) The campaign reached out through various intermediaries to try to coordinate with wikileaks the release of hacked materials. Materials hacked by Russian agents and given to the wikileaks.
6) Of course we have ex post evidence of recidivism, including the attempted shakedown of Zelenskyy for dirt on the Bidens

we have a president (mercifully former president) eager and willing to collaborate with foreign entities (including governments hostile to the United States) in the pursuit of his personal political interests...it is something that should not be minimized
as for Biden's laptop, Hunter is a bum and deserves whatever comes to him...i don't think there has been much doubt it is his laptop...it is a little murky exactly what is there...maybe Big Guy really is skimming off a percentage...that would be yuge if true...but Hunter was trading off his father's name...definitely a bad thing...and his father seems to have not been as vigilant as he should have been in keeping a distance from Hunter and other relatives trying to use their proximity to him to advance their financial interests

Mueller whole team knew it wasn't real and they still pushed it.
Anyone that even utters the potential validity of Russian Collusion is an idiot. There is not much else to say.
Every possible angle was investigated with nothing and now we know for sure that the most material portions of the accusations were completely created by political adversaries and the previous sitting president.

Mueller's report stated he could not establish collusion
there was no memorandum of understanding or other evidence that could stand up in a court of law (Mueller used the beyond a reasonable doubt standard) that would say there was a quid pro quo
i think that's a fair conclusion but it is worth keeping in mind that very poorly chosen one drew a "red line" telling Mueller not to poke around into his bank records and Mueller accepted that
but we are each entitled to form our judgment (using standards other than beyond a reasonable doubt)
i think very poorly chosen one's campaign was too incompetent, disorganized and bumbling to have some sort of well-worked out quid pro quo...it was a kind of Keystone Kops collusion, with various parties like Manafartov also pursuing their own side deals to shake some dough out of various counterparties...the man himself was hoping for his own side deal in the form of that tower in Moscow...he expressed quite a bit of disappointment later in his presidency about how the russian collusion witch hunt was preventing him from making more deals with Russia...not much imagination is needed to know what kind of deals he was lamenting
Why are you believing so much of what the FBI says when we caught Strzok calling for sedition against the president, Clinesmith committing fraud to get the FISA warrants, and Durham's recent revelations?
