GDT 4/28/22: Braves vs Cubs - Acuña Returns

I was just literally typing that Adam couldn't hit Stone Mountain, then he HR's.

I take credit.

I can dream, but we get Soroka back in time, and we could have one hell of a pitching staff heading into playoffs ….

With Dickerson gone the way is clear for Waters and Harris to get their shots before the deadline. TD shouldn’t stand in their way.

I have been higher on Waters than most. How can we expect anything out of him given his recent performance and lack of playing the last couple of months?

Kyle Wright is really good

I am still warry given his history.

That said, he looked like he didn't have his stuff today and he still went deep into the game and was effective. Cubs are not exactly the best line up, but they are solid.

IF Kyle Wright is actually good now...Like if he is a 3 WAR pitcher....3.5 ERA or so....Ian Anderson like....That really opens up options for this year and moving forward.

If Morton's not good, 20 million from him plus 10 million from Dansby and 10 million from Duvall means you could get an impact guy. I hope Morton is a guy we'd love to give 20 million to next year, like we were this year, but so far it doesn't look great. I think he'll be better, but he might not be a top 3 in the rotation guy on a contender.
