Trump had a senior moment? Well that can happen to anyone. He's one sharp dude. I'm surprised it happened. If it did.
But my post is about twitter shutting down a parody account. Parody has a long and distinguished history as an important part of how free people express their views. It seems to me all lovers of free speech would be united in opposition to twitter shutting down such an account. And also united in opposition when politicians file lawsuits seeking suppression of such accounts. Being exposed to ridicule and parody is an occupational hazard of being a politician. It is part of the democratic process. Someone who can't handle that should probably not be in politics.

Fortunately, judges have ruled mostly in favor of parody accounts (Nunes' cow) and against the overly sensitive politicians (Nunes).
These lawsuits (sometimes including twitter as a defendant) seem mainly designed to suppress an important form of free speech (parody).

Hopefully, twitter will reconsider its decision to suppress the JD Mandel account.

A large part of the reason he has invaded Ukraine is to counter the expansion of Nato. I suspect Putin still would have invaded. He likes to take these things with the Olympics. In a second term Trump couldnt realty be bullied by bad press into doing something like he has on several issues. I can only imagine what Trump would have done in a second term no longer needing to worry about reelection and clearly he couldnt do anything to get impeached and removed since it needs at least 1/3rd of Republicans to choose country over party.
