GDT 5-4 - IAN and THE FORCES of GOOD vs. the seven trainers

Was not that impressed by the Mets all series.

I think the regression for them is gonna be real.

And our progression is gonna be better.

This all day. I don’t see all the hype behind em and we have been playing at our worst. At the end of the season I think we’ll have a 6-7 game lead on them and the Phillies.

My concern with New York is that they're winning two-thirds of their games with what appears to be "smoke and mirrors." Like most of you, I look at their lineup and wonder how they're doing so well--fully expecting them to regress, big time. However, adding (at some point in the season) deGrom and Scherzer to a team that's playing well, managed professionally while believing in itself and it could be a formidable mix over the course of a season.

It's kind of amazing to see the Mets and a handful of other teams so hot right out of the gate. There's five teams with a .640 WP or better to start. It can't last - maybe one of them is able to maintain that.

BTW we get to face another of those teams tomorrow. Oh joy.

We'll beat their ass like we did in the NLDS

Next two weeks are pretty rough - vs MIL, vs BOS, vs SD, @ MIL.

Brewers have legitimately great pitching but the Braves have a better xWOBA and xWOBA against than the Padres and Red Sox. So take that for what it's worth.

I just looked and the Red Sox after their loss today are 10-16. Worse off than us it seems. We get lucky and finish with SD early before Tatis returns from injury.
