I mean the board would be kind of boring if we didn't troll each other at least a little bit. Some of us just do it a lot (cough steak sauce cough).

Who would had thought seventy years ago that the German leader and it's army would be the most powerful in continental Europe and would take the lead against the Russians in 2014.

I know you guys don't want to be in another conflict but The EU could manhandle the Russians by themselves. Wouldn't be pretty, lots would die but they may need to.

Good, it's about time they got off their arses and did something!!! With that said, be careful with Russia, they may suck in road games but they're pretty tough on their home field, especially in the winter time.
 
I'm really curious to see what unfolds this coming week. The vote on the referendum (which will undoubtedly pass) is tomorrow. The Europeans (namely Germany) have promised to levy new sanctions if Russia allows the vote, but China has warned Germany there will be 'unforeseen consequences' if Merkel moves ahead with more rigorous penalties.

Just a little off-putting.
 
Sounds like we've been making no headway then with the Chinese. Glad they've been trying though. While being generally supportive of the administration's responses post-invasion, I do think this is pretty good:

This is why I don't understand the liberals with their appeasement and 'diplomatic talks' People like Putin only stop when you physically force him them stop. Some people are like rabid dogs. You need to put them down.

Will you enlist to fight / propose higher taxes to pay to "physically force them" or
just shake your fist at Russia while other peoples kids are put in harms way and in 10 years our economy blows up again?.

Question for you? How many more lives would had been saved if hitler was attacked shortly after he started attacking Europe versus when we finally went in on dday?

Hundreds of millions?

What liberals can't comprehend is if we don't confront Russia why would China not pull the same **** and take over the little islands? They see America as weak.
