The Coronavirus, not the beer

yes...most people who know something about economics would agree that raising taxes in and of itself dampens demand and reduces inflation...tis not a controversial proposition

Hahahahaha weren't you the very smart person telling me.inflation wasn't here because of a meat plant in New York state

Raising taxes on corps will result in corps raising prices on customers (both corps and consumers)

I truly didn't realize the extent of.your stupidity til I realized you were a professor

It's been fun luring you back into this thread though you avoid like the plague.

What are your thoughts on the most vaccinated states having the highest infection rates?

nope...i'm the guy who was kind enough to link Larry Summers op-ed piece from early 2021 explaining why the new round of fiscal stimulus was badly calibrated (too large) and likely to set off inflation

you, however, are the guy who has peddled the following gems for which we are forever grateful:

The American people in general can't resist killing others.

Putin is "completely rational" and "not as bad as Trudeau."

The vaccine is nothing but a tool of oppression.

The vaccines are very likely the cause of the new variants.

Sending military aid to Ukraine is "arming the Nazis."

Unlike the United States, China never invades and occupies other countries. (hello Tibet!)

Russia Today is one of the best sources for news and information.

Obama's actions in Ukraine and Russia set most of the war in motion.

Putin was afraid of Trump.

Vermont is not letting people buy seeds.

The shooting of Ashli Babbitt was an act of tyranny.

i suspect even you may be somewhat dimly aware that infection rates mainly reflect testing rates...but i may be wrong in that assessment

"this is WAR!!! We must print whatever it takes to fight this WAR!!!"

No wonder Nsacpi was so fond of COVID... Gave him another excuse to print trillions in the name of war. Now he lectures about inflation.

So cute.

(Im confident he won't touch any COVID related topics in this thread.... There is a reason he disappeared from it and is now succumbing to his senile copy and pasting deza)

So the non vax states aren't sick enough to even test?

that is a take

not the only available one

but a take nonetheless

someone else had a similar take: ‘If we stopped testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any’
