The streak has been amazing. Can’t believe we are only 4 games back now. Everybody a couple of weeks ago said the division was gonna be almost impossible to catch up to.

Let's see where it is after next weekends games vs the Dodgers and Giants. It's gonna come down to the head to head games when it's said and done though. We've certainly made it a more interesting race than it was 2 weeks ago lol. Be nice if Brewers could win Thursday to knock it down to 3.5 going into the weekend.

Seriously. Why did we have to go through so many Elder/Davidson starts to get to this guy. I agree with many here Strider has TOR stuff if he can get one more good pitch (cutter/change). The slider isn’t good enough imo. The Fastball is elite. But he is light years ahead of the other scrubs we have been running out there.

Striders year in the minors last year is what informed AA on his off-season decision not to get another arm. But easing him in with some long relief outings may have been part of a larger plan.

I think the main strider issue is innings.

He had tj. Then he had like 60 innings. Then 80 last year. He’s going to be at 80 innings soon.

They really wanted to keep his innings down. At this rate he’ll double his innings from previous year. Is that ok for his arm?

I think they wanted to baby the arm more. Hopefully they feel he can handle it at it is not just desperation

very frustrating when snit puts these so cold “benchmarks” then blows past it. His first start he was only expected to go 60 pitches. And went to 80.

snit has been trying to extend him so much.

The amazing part of this winning streak to me is that Olson really hasn't hit during it, .248/.300/.431 (last 15 games ). No matter the opponents, I can't see a braves' team the last few years ripping off a long winning streak with FF not hitting... the supporting cast seems to be getting better. That's a nice thought since I expect Olson to get going, soon.

Hope he does for our sake....

The incredible thing about winning 14 in a row is that we haven't had a blow up game. No matter the opponent, usually something happens and you lose a game or two over that stretch. Braves starting pitching has bent a little bit recently, but the offense was there to pick them up.
