GDT 6/21/22: Braves vs. Giants - Win It For Allison

The time has come to invent an injury for the wife choker, call up Tromp or whoever the hell we need as an insurance catcher, and DH Contreras.
 
Of all the things that were the reasons we lost, ozuna seems pretty far down the list. He hit a 2-run HR with 0 LOB

They need to try and move him…and that fckn contract. Eat as much as you possibly can…move that MFer and cut the other sorry MFer on Lf

Yes but even Dan Uggla occasionally ran into one. More often than not, it’s not competitive at bats. He almost never just lays off a pitch. It’s always flailing or check swings that he barely holds up on. And it’s a drain to have him hitting middle of the order when Harris is actually producing. Snit leaving our best reliever on the shelf and the invisible second baseman the two main culprits tonight.

Bro he’s ****. He might be good for something once a game once a week…if that….He’s trash…

D’Arnaud is good for something once a game a couple times a week if we’re lucky…

Acuna is low key unclutch as a MFer…

Riley looks like he’s trying to do too much sometimes or he’s over thinking ****..

And the Manager is a fckn joke…He’s just a fckn yes boy for the front office….I’ve seen better managing from a porn director than what this MFer does…

For the year, ozuna certainly has been disappointing. His last 7 games though, he has a .985 ops. Just found the timing of the criticism odd

So 4 of our starters and our manager suck. Looks like we f'd
 
Tonight we just couldn't put any of the Giants hitters away. I'm not going to look it up but it seems like they had an inordinate number of two strike hits, very few of which were hit hard. It happens. More frustrating was that from a pitching standpoint and on paper (Strider against their bullpen) we should've won. Need to at least split this series with SF while the Mets are in Houston.

On a much more significant note, all the best for Allison and prayers for her recovery.
