Both items Suburbanites (wine moms voting for the family) turning away from Trump as well as coordinated nationwide vote stealing occurred. They are not mutually exclusive.
Trump will forever be known as the man who completely flipped the voting demographics in the country. We are going to see massive amounts of Hispanics and Black Men vote for Trump (or Desantis) and that happened in 2020 as well but the votes in the cities were the ones that were manipulated so it masked the massive movement we are seeing now in the polling.

My belief is the plan was always a slow degradation but Trumps shocking 2016 victory changed their thinking big time.

In 2016 when trump won, the seals cried.for changing electors.
