Not saying it would happen (he's rich, he can get away with anything) but it would make more sense to not bury him right away. It would make more sense to let him announce his candidacy then ramp up the process. As long as there's no statute, slow rolling this only works out for the dems if they have a case. If they don't, then it's just Benghazi and is little more than lame theater.

The Democrats dont get to choose when someone is arrested. Merrick Garland can choose to convene a grand jury that could return an indictment. Most Democrats I hear from are livid that it hasn't happened yet.

I just dont understand what you expect. The Durhaninvestigation is political. The Ukraine Biden stuff was politically motivated. All the other witch hunts by Trumps DoJ were political. Benghazi was political. The future Republican investigation after the mid terms will be political. Does one side having political motivations exonerate a person of ever committing a crime? If you had shown an ounce of consistency on this issue so might agree with you, but the fact that you dont care in the slightest bit about Republicans politically motivated investigations tells me you are a clown.
The problem you don't seem to get is that many investigations are political but there is at least something to them. The attacks against Trump don't have much of a legal basis. If you weren't a clown you'd see this.

Well we disagree on it having a legal basis. Much of the reason Trump and others like Hillary dont get prosecuted is because the crime requires prosecutors to prove intent. Theres not much of a question Trump caused that riot with his stolen election gaslighting, promotion of the J6 rally, and refusing to concede that the transition of power would be happening. He asked them to be there, gave them false hopes he had no ability to deliver on, then threw his VP under the bus to an angry mob. The committee has been looking at intent. Thats why stories about him being happy to see the riot, verbally supporting hanging Pence, and wanting metal detectors removed are such a big deal.
Even if this is all simply to attack Trump. Welcome to politics. Trump literally ran on a platform promising politically motivated investigations of Hillary. Cry me a river.
