The dumbassery on the base paths will not serve us well against actual good teams like the Mets. Thankfully Washington is hot garbage outside of Soto.
Or not too bad case. Braves only .5 back on Wednesday night.

Looking like a pretty productive day for the Braves in the standings and with teams with similar records.
Mets, Phillies, Brewers, and Padres all lost or are down big right now. Need the Cubs to beat the Dodgers -- Cubs up 8-4, but it's only the 3rd.

Been lurking some Mets forums the last few weeks.
Originally the sentiment was "the braves aren't playing anybody" (during our streak) to "our schedule is gonna be favorable down the stretch" to "We're still in good position to win the division with DeGrom and Scherzer coming back" to now it's "Mets are in good position to make the playoffs with .500 ball the rest of the way (90 wins) and DeGrom coming back and Scherzer not full strength yet".
The five stages of grief. Currently now on #4.
It's starting to settle in for them lol.
