Schuster making his Triple A debut tonight.
Interested in this. Ynoa, Davidson, and elder have all struggled in this league this year, so it isn't a gimme league
Shuster could be fine, but I honestly just don’t care about pitching prospects until I see the statcast data. It feels like the chasm between AAA and MLB is as big as ever.
I'm gonna guess he's got some plus pitches even if the velocity leaves a lot to be desired
You can get away with low FB velocity if your secondary stuff is good. Older Kershaw and Wainwright prove that.
Grissom with a double and RBI first at-bat, plus his 5th stolen base at AA already... dude is absolutely on a tear right now. He's becoming a major prospect. If he keeps up this success at AA, he should be a top 50 prospect in the off season.
Malloy also holding his own thus far in AA with an OPS right at .800 and 2 homers. Still walking at a good clip, 15%. Would be nice if he could play a decent LF.
I've got to drive an hour and see them
Diego was on the restricted list for a few days. His homers were in the first couple of games. Love the walk rates by both guys and generally can't wait to see them progress.Diego Benitez still showing promising signs in the DSL... only batting .187 but with a .218 BABIP. Plus he's sporting a 20.8% walk rate (.386 OBP) with a couple homers.
Douglas Glod with a .213/.373/.383 slash line... 18.6% BB rate
Power should continue to come along for these guys but hard to beat those walk rates at 17 years old

Grissom with another line drive for a single. Can’t believe how well he’s adjusted to AA. He should be pretty highly ranked going into the offseason. If he hits and we can spend SS money elsewhere then the window just opened for even longer.
