CBB Thread

Dayton is playing extremely well. I didn't see their game tonight, but regardless of their opponent they will be a tough out.
 
Carolina is a notorously bad offender; both football and basketball. I don't know how they continue to get away with the stuff they do with merely a slap on the wrist.
 
Kyle Anderson is a stud. I think the guys that miss out on Parker, Wiggins, Embid are still gonna be very happy. He's gotta go top 10.

Looking forward to Kentucky vs. Louisville. Pitino typically owns these situations and with the refs backing off on the emphasis on fouls, that will help Louisville.
 
Stud in college, not sure it's going to translate to NBA....he's probably not a good enough athlete for it to translate, though. He can't guard guys in college, no way he can guard NBA guards. I still like him, wouldn't take him in top 15 though.
 
UK is a bad matchup for the Cards.

Their length will cause them problems.

Harrell gets in foul trouble, Louisville is screwed.

Russ has to go nuts or it's a wrap.

I think UK will win, i hope im wrong though :Sad:
 
I think Kentucky wins but Harrell is a different player now than he was when they first met. So that gives me some, false, hope...Russ is also playing on a different level....only way Ville wins is if 2 of Russ/Harrell/Luke goes off.

I think his length will cause a lot of issues for guys in the NBA. Sorta like a Penny Hardaway type.

It could....but he's going to have problems staying in front of guys, he's a below average athlete and foot work sucks. I've obviously been talking about him all year, so I like him....just wouldn't touch him with a lotto pick in THIS draft.

Back to Ville/Kentucky.....KenPom, Silver and Vitale all picking Ville, so I'll cling to that like it's fact.
 
I thought that Levine kid has some great quickness last night and was pretty crafty when he got to the basket.

I agree with BRule and that Anderson didn't look all that athletic.

I only watched this one game so I could be way off.
 
LaVine got some really bad advice, freak athlete but isn't close to an NBA player. I'm sure some team will reach on him but he's years away from being an NBA player.

The D-League is going to get more and more used by NBA teams. I like the idea of using it like a MLB minor league system. I believe that it is a better system for young players to develop.
