Yep it's all coming off as an unearned sense of entitlement. Nobody outside of the team and fan base gives a **** about last year or the last four years.
 
Mets fans are already declaring themselves a dynasty and that the Braves will be playing for 2nd for as long as Wilpon runs the team.

For the next year or two the Mets are going to be VERY good. But the best team doesn't always win.

They are the younger child in the family BEGGING to be important after not being relevant for a long time. I get it and I see it daily.
 
This is most delicious. When they fail its going to be even sweeter to see than normal. They’ll probably lose a lot of ground this week as luck reverts to the mean and then lose 3/4 in Truist next week. Life is good.
 
You’d think by some of the idiots in here that we were in last place. Strider was right, there was a lot of luck on their hits especially Alonso’s that hit the 3b bag. Just the way the dominoes fall sometimes. Next time it may be us.
 
I remember one idiot in particular that wanted to bet on the NL east. He should just be glad there isn't a betting app

Yep they had some luck and then he freaking grooved one to Canha, and we somehow let the fat ass score from first without a throw. And CB Bucknor has been awful forever for everyone. He could have kept it at what Dansby did. We didn't play well. We know we're better than this, and it's a long season. We're still a confident team and so on.

I ain’t scared to bet ever. But he’s not as big of an idiot as the alcoholic that rants all day long about how garbage the Braves are and how scared they are while ‘claiming’ to be a Braves fan. Troll
