GDT Opening Day - Braves @ Brewers - 3/31/2014

Happy Opening Day everyone!

time to go grab some patio space somewhere and get a bloody mary and enjoy this amazing weather with some baseball again!

Andrew Brown just hit a monster 3 run bomb off Stephen Strasburg with 2 outs in the 1st inning. 3-0 Mets!

I predict BJ is going to get hot to start the season then tear his ACL somehow. It's a braves tradition.

Hopefully he'll do it punching Bryce Harper in the dome. Probably more likely he'll do it while carrying Avilan off the field after Luis collapses from exhaustion. Or while bunting.

I see most of you guys are in mid season form already.

I predict we score 10 runs today.

That's usually what happens when everyone complains about the lineup.

I've been told in the past where you hit in the lineup doesn't matter, I think it's pretty obvious people don't believe that otherwise they wouldn't complain so much.

Honestly? I'm excited, and I don't care about the lineup much--just having fun. It is the (lack of) thought behind it that bothers me a little.

I find it impossible that someone can actually make a claim that lineup construction doesn't matter.

Bryce Harper is having to leave the game after getting hit in the head by Eric Young's leg while sliding into 2nd. Possible concussion.
