It's pretty obvious by now the fan base and the team for the most part have no use for him. This isn't an everyday thing. I think there'd be a level of understanding there. AA is a terrific roster-builder. Ozuna isn't helping the roster in any shape or form.
 
I know Will Smith was scuffling, but is Dylan Lee really a better pitcher than Smith? Curious if they will head to the scrap heap to find a third LH relief pitcher for the playoffs.

EDIT Disregard. I forgot Matzek was back. Still and all, I don't see Lee as a reliable contributor.

Right, which is why I said try to find a way to suspend him till offseason before trying to rid yourself of him.

Whether the Braves decide Ozuna is worth keeping around, IDK. But I’m not even sure Ozuna would get a major league contract at this point. No team is taking that PR hit (and paying good money for the pleasure) to take on a no name like Elder.

Lee has been so much better than him it isn't a fair comparison.

Lee - 0.8 fWAR. Era, FIP, xera, xFIP all in 2's
Smith - -0.6 fWAR. 4.43 era, 3.80 xera, 5.27 FIP, 4.66 xFIP

The marlins are the team I have in mind. They get a chance at a player that's 2 years removed from being excellent for 2 years, 14 million and a pitcher they saw pitch well vs them. Maybe they wouldn't. Maybe no one does, but again, what does it hurt to wait and try?

Who we making room for? We don't even use our bench
