GDT 8/21 vs Astros Game 3

deGrom and Scherzer.

If the Braves can touch them up, i dont see why the Dodgers couldnt who just hit up Alcantara. Not like the Dodgers rotation is garbage either. Some combo of Urias, May. Kershaw, Anderson, Gonsolin, Heaney among others with a deep, deep bullpen.

Not that big of a deal when you consider the bench doesn't play

Couldn't disagree more. On the roster means on the roster. If it came down to having to use the 26th guy, I'd rather it be someone else, even if it's a Preston Tucker type. Ozuna does not need to be a part of this organization a day longer.

Your argument is with AA, not me. I trust he knows what he's doing.

Perhaps ownership isn't as ready as this board to shell out 30 million of their money

Goins DFA for Adrianza to return was always going to be the roster move.

Inexcusable is a strong word, but I agree with the sentiment.

Puzzling is the word I would use. Perhaps we will be able to find a deal to rid ourselves of him at some point.

There must be something going on for him to still be on the roster.

I think there is rumblings that he will not get convicted of DUI and that the claims he was going 90 are being debunked. I don't think he was even issued a traffic citation for speeding. So I think the legal issues are going to go away. however, there is still the issue of him being a complete zero at the plate. hopefully that gets addressed this offseason.

I know the cops are not above lying, making false DUI arrests, etc., but I have a very hard time believing they would do that with a multi-millionaire and professional athlete. Too much embarrassment to the department if they were to lose that.

Well, they lied about what they saw him do to his wife, so it obviously doesn’t matter.

Cops are mostly twats desperate for the authority the badge gives them. I wouldn't put anything past them...especially in the backwards south.

Won't go as far as cheff, but I think they arrested him mostly based on him seeming confused during the field test. He refused the blood and breath test, so there is no concrete evidence, and a good lawyer will easily win his communication barrier for the confussion.. I think this will get dropped pretty quickly.. I still don't like him and wish he were gone, but now that I have looked at it in more detail, I am not going to use this as my crutch to release him. I am back on hoping we can dump him in the offseason at this point and just let him ride the bench with some PA occasionaly.

Well the DUI is interesting. He had a failure to maintain lane but they have no BAC and as far as speeding goes it never sounds like they got him on radar. Which means the state doesn’t have much.

Ozuna has been awful but he’s the 26th man right now and in just over a week he’ll be the 28th man and he won’t be part of the playoff roster.

It will probably take to the offseason for the legal process to play out. Once the info is all together you do the best you can to deal with him going forward.
